Petteway - first three a good shot, the second three is a bad shot whether it went in or not.

Completely disagree.  Who else was pacing us throughout the night to our first 35 points??  Petteway is probably our best option when you need a big shot.  Remember the game up in East Lansing?

Which has nothing to do with whether that is a good shot or not. If you only focus on results you miss the majority of everything - good and bad.

Just when you need him...

Love the guys who think he is our big problem

He is part of the problem - everyone wearing white tonight is part of the problem.

True but the solution isn't to bench him like some have advocated;.  Still one of our very few playmakers, and that's what wins games

as hard as Benny played right there and we have stepped it up both in overtime and the first five minutes of the second half last night... I have to wonder why we haven't been playing harder. If playing at 80% so you don't have to sub is the answer that is completely unacceptable.

Respectfully I will disagree.  On a night when we go over 9 minutes without a FG, any shot that goes in is a GOOD shot.

Time for bed.  This was ugglly again.  We need to get our poop in the group.  Not sure what we are going to do, but we need to get way better.  Sooo glad we won.  Hey, we got to 50 :)

Putting him on the bench and leaving him there is not the solution, but there are times last year Miles yanked him and had conversation with him after boneheaded plays/shots and it did wonders for his play.

Again, not what the posters I am referring to were advocating.

Which is why  if you had a team and I had a team I would want to schedule you as often as possible. Results do not determine good or bad and I've seen lots of coaches that feel they do lose a lot.

Wow.  14 in the second half. 15 in overtime.  Thanks to TP, regardless if his shot selection was good/bad

Second one wasn't great but not a terrible shot for him in my book. And it went in and we won so I'll take it

The solution is to coach him and teach him to be a better player.
