hhcmatt Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 I have a great feeling about this one...I really do. Yeah, me too. Don't be too stingy with the twitter love Quote
FredsSlacks Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 I have a great feeling about this one...I really do. i hope so. his composite ranking is around 175 in the 2016 class, but he has a better offer list than a lot of players in the top 100. he would be a big time get. tons of potential. moves great for someone who is 6'11 260 pounds. jason2486 Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 I think we go from NIT bubble to NCAA bubble if we get him! Silverbacked1 1 Quote
FredsSlacks Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 I think we go from NIT bubble to NCAA bubble if we get him! not sure how good he will be from day 1, but i think we'll be back in the tourney real soon if we get both jordy and palmer. Silverbacked1 1 Quote
AuroranHusker Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Nebraska gets a legit center, and the Huskers are on the verge of greatness. I know it's premature but this kid has potential in the vain of a Hassan Whiteside. Git'r done, Miles & Co. GBR Quote
colhusker Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Toss in a grad transfer if we can get one and the last two visitors CH would not be putting col in stockings this year a Christmas! As others have said, yes please. Quote
busticket Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Gosh. It looked like he hardly had to try. It sure would be nice to have a guy like that in the paint. Quote
bleujay Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Looks like he's having a great time. He's a lot more trim than I imagined. Would be a great get for you guys Quote
TheKamdyMan Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 The more I watch of him he reminds me of former Golden Gopher Maurice Walker. I hope he would transition quicker than Walker did but there's a ton of similarities between the two of them. bigFRED 1 Quote
jimmykc Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 He has achieved the mandatory 20 page thread. That should insure he will soon be N. jayschool 1 Quote
bball23 Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 How many followers did he have on Twitter before his visit? I'm always curious to see how many NU fans will start following potential recruits. Especially one like Jordy that we badly need! I see he's at 499 now. Anybody see what his "post visit" # was? Quote
Norm Peterson Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 I think he's slimmed down from 260#. Maybe more like 230# now. Made that dunk look effortless. It might be asking too much to say we become an NCAA bubble team just by adding him, but it certainly won't hurt. Quote

It might be asking too much to say we become an NCAA bubble team just by adding him, but it certainly won't hurt. I've seen him listed at 240, 245, and 260 in various places. The OWH article said he was once about 300 and has trimmed down from that. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Last night I was planning to have a Chimichanga but instead went with a Gigante Burrito. The 'Changa will happen, though, I can feel it~~~~~ Quote
Norm Peterson Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Has he committed yet or what? I checked Brian Rosenthal's twitter. No official word yet. Quote
hal9000 Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Do we know if he has any more schools to visit? Quote
HuskerCager Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Has he committed yet or what? I might have a short memory, but I can't recall a time when a recruit actually committed while on campus. Someone will probably remind me of when this has occurred. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Do we know if he has any more schools to visit? Possibly Boston College, IIRC. Quote
ajb5856 Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Do we know if he has any more schools to visit? Possibly Boston College, IIRC. I think it's only Arizona left to visit and that is a maybe if I remember from all the different articles. I would assume he's had multiple chances to visit Boston college already while in Boston. Red Don Posted May 1, 2016 Report Posted May 1, 2016 Think Arop may have committed during the In-home visit. EDIT: Yup! That's what I was thinking of. Maybe we ought to try an in-home with Jordy? Brick 1 Quote
