i'm pretty sure their predictions are based solely on the fact that he lives in boston.

Minnesota offered him in February and Bakary Konate doesn't exactly have a firm grip on the starting job.

If he doesn't show up for the spring game, you'd have to wonder a little unless we are such the favorite that he's going to visit us last.

i agree. if he doesn't come for the spring game, i don't like our chances.

 

 

Whether or not he comes for the spring game won't have any impact on his decision to commit to NU.  I would assume he will be more concerned about the basketball facilities and his role on the them vs. attending a spring football practice.

He's still planning on visiting (insert your school name here).

 

He likes (insert your head coach name here) and thinks there would be opportunity to play right away.

 

He's still undecided but (insert your school name here) is still in the running and near the top of his list.

 

Some random stuff about his family situation and obstacles he's had to overcome in life.

 

What his AAU coach thinks of his ability and how he is one of the best (insert position here) he's ever coached.

Speaking of Jordy wanting to see the facilities and now not visiting for the spring game...this may be an okay thing that he's not coming until the end of the month now. I believe there's the monster jam monster trucks going on at the arena Friday and Saturday so who knows if Jordy would've been able to see PBA with the basketball floor down. I'm assuming Tim has them set the building up like that when big visitors are in town.

I haven't been paying attention since the beginning of NU's recruitment of Jordy, but why does it seem like this process is being dragged out? Did a lot of schools not show interest in him until late in the process? Is Jordy still taking visits to multiple schools? Its just a little uncommon to see a quality recruit that's not a decommit looking at his options a few months before he's set to step onto campus.

Interesting tidbits on Jordy following his Minnesota visit. Shocker, but the visit went extremely well. He really loved the family atmosphere, blah blah blah. He also upgraded his interest level for Minnesota on his scout page to high to go along with high interest levels for us and Arizona. Boston College says low interest which I thought was weird because it goes against all the crystal ballers who are predicting BC is where he ends up.
