Silverbacked1 Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 Looks better and better each time I see him. Also love how it says Nebraska commit, so hands off everybody. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 Looks excellent...I really like what I see in that footage. Quote
Brandon4Real_X Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 He's turning into end of the season Andrew Wiggins. Why shoot when you can dunk on everybody. And I absolutely love it. Roby will play a huge role when he gets here. Silverbacked1 1 Quote
Chuck Taylor Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 I usually am skeptical of highlights since they only show the guy making shots. But IR shows a lot of court vision, seems to really know what's going on around him. Not only looks like the most athletic guy out there, but also the smartest. Quote

Fullbacksympathy Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 Amazing work from Miles. This kid might be the most talented prospect we've had yet. Quote

swoof Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 We're aiming for 8 stars by the time final rankings are released next summer! If he'd had offers from Kansas, MIchigan St., etc, he'd already have at least that many! Quote
Norm Peterson Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 We're aiming for 8 stars by the time final rankings are released next summer! That's a lot of Burnos between now and then, but I'm not sure they go up to 8 stars. Just, y'know, sayin'. 49r 1 Quote
Norm Peterson Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 His film reminds me of another Illinois kid from not too long ago: http://sports.yahoo.com/footballrecruiting/basketball/recruiting/player-Paul-White-119661 Quote
TheKamdyMan Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 His film reminds me of another Illinois kid from not too long ago: http://sports.yahoo.com/footballrecruiting/basketball/recruiting/player-Paul-White-119661 Ive seen Paul a couple times in person. I think he is more mature physcially than Roby is but the one thing I like about Roby is the fact he is/was the man on his HS and AAU team. I think that definitely helps your game when you are the main focus. With White no matter his HS or AAU team he was not the top rated guy with Jahlil Okafor is HS and Charles Matthews on the AAU team. I do agree though both are similar players but feel White is more of a down low player and will rely on others to create for him and feel Roby can be more of a facilitator/play maker and feel some of that is from the above but just from what I have seen on film or in person. Norm Peterson Posted September 4, 2015 Report Posted September 4, 2015 I'll be honest: This news kinda excites me. Now, if only we could find a serviceable, athletic rebounder and rim protector, because there's not a center among them and none of them is taller than 6'8". So, question: If we find a starting center between now and next school year, which Rivals 4-star will be coming off the bench? Whoa, did I really just type that? 49r 1 Quote
nebrasketball10 Posted September 4, 2015 Report Posted September 4, 2015 In my opinion, stars become far less meaningful for college transfers. I would think that particular evaluation would be superseded by the abilities demonstrated at their previous college. Obviously there are exceptions, and White may be one, given the circumstances at KU. hhcmatt 1 Quote

But, until this year, Rivals 4-stars of any variety, transfers or otherwise, were as rare as unicorns farting rainbows on this roster. bobcat402 1 Quote
Norm Peterson Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 Y'know, in Roby's defense, the reason he's not getting much attention from the recruiting services is because he committed to us so early that they just ... Oh, wait, nevermind. Quote
