Looks like we have a winner! Seems to be a kid who,has his head on straight and has some talent. He looks like that type,of player who plays with a smoothness that makes him look like he isn't working very hard. He will learn quickly, but he gets to play tougher players on his AAU games which will help him the most.

He's 6'8" as a HS junior.  No hair on his legs or face.  Probably still growing.  He has the skills of a wing.  Nice touch on his shot.  Agility for a guy that size is ++.  Some guys that size are still a little awkward/clumsy at that age (or older -- think Toney McCray.)  Isaiah is fluid.  He's fluid, he's smooth, he has a nice build even at his height and weight.  He'll be able to add to that frame.  Plus, he has the ability to put it on the floor and drive or shoot from the perimeter.  He has a lot of tools and a lot of upside.  And he seems to have the kind of demeanor that won't be a liability come draft day (see Petteway, Terran.)

Roby will be a great replacement for Shields. possibly an upgrade if he keeps improving.

According to Miles, Gill is targeted to be the replacement for Shields.  He said exactly that when he announced Gill was official.

IIRC, Miles was referring to immediate scoring punch from Gill to replace Shields' production at the offensive end.

In all seriousness however, I am extremely excited to see how he has progressed and it appears he's on track to come in and be an impact player from day 1.  I'll admit I had my doubts at first but I am definitely sold on him now!

A lot of hardcore Nebrasketball fans have anticipated Isaiah Roby's eventual rise to greatness. Now it's about developing an all-around game to go with his physical skills, which seems to be his trajectory to a great hoops career.

And let's hope he doesn't hit his peak performance until he's wearing the Husker jersey while contributing meaningful minutes. This NU roster is starting to look #B1G-time! GBR

As the record shows I have been high on him from day one.  He is Kyle Anderson IMO and that would bode well for NU.

Go ahead and sign me up for a four-year version of Kyle Anderson.

To be fair to both players, I dont think Roby will be able to get to where KA was statistically until his junior year but having 2 years, just like UCLA got from KA, of that production (on top of whatever he can provide the first 2 years) will be very valuable to the Huskers.
