hhcmatt
They also led the nation in increase in attendance over the previous year. It's the biggest increase in attendance in 7 years! Nebraska increased its average attendance by 5,067 fans per game in 2013-14, the largest single-season increase by a Division I program in men’s basketball since Virginia averaged 5,725 more fans per game during the 2006-07 season, its first season at John Paul Jones Arena. Nebraska’s attendance increase marks only the eighth time (by seven schools) where attendance has increased by more than 5,000 fans per game since the 1999-2000 season. Stuk N Boulder
not that this is a big deal, cuz the story has been up for weeks now. Dont you think it rather odd that the whole premise of the story was to tout the attendance record that was set this year but the cover photo has virtually NO ONE standing outside the arena? Why use this photo? Was it a pretty sunset? Maybe. Why not a photo of the place full of people, waiting for opening day, or the final home game of the season? Tie the photo to the article. hhcmatt
