Looks like a go:

'No-Sit Sunday' at Pinnacle Bank Arena

A friend of Nebraska assistant coach Chris Harriman texted Harriman on Thursday morning.

A Nebraska fan who lives in St. Louis, the friend was expressing his excitement about coming to Sunday's basketball game at Pinnacle Bank Arena between Nebraska and No. 9 Wisconsin.

He referred to it as "No-Sit Sunday."

That expression quickly stuck with Harriman, who decided to coin the phrase in anticipation of what many are saying is the biggest home game in Nebraska history.

"Why not?" Harriman said. "Let's roll with it. We need that place loud and rocking."

So, there you have it. 'No-Sit Sunday' has been declared.

Coaches want everyone standing, as much as possible, and making noise in the process.

What's at stake?

A victory for Nebraska (18-11, 10-7 Big Ten) could clinch the program's first at-large NCAA Tournament berth since 1998. It could also clinch a first-round bye in next week's Big Ten Tournament, where the Huskers could be looking to improve their seeding in the NCAA Tournament, rather than fighting to make the tournament.

The game is sold out. Students tickets are going for as much as $50, which is basically the price of a season student ticket. Tickets for the general public are going for nearly $100 on StubHub.

And with a 60-degree day forecast, you can imagine the energy in the Railyard all afternoon for the 6:30 p.m. tip-off.

It'll be an interesting crowd, that's for sure. I wonder how the blue hairs in attendance will respond to "no sit Sunday". LOL!

they'll mostly be concerned with beating traffic. Nothing like getting home an extra 15 minutes early.

Haha, for sure! Mass exodus at the under 8 minute tv timeout. (Boy, I sure hope Nebrasketball is getting past that point)
