Louisville Comparison (just for laughs)

Ok. So here's a comparison:

1. Huskers beat Midland (a NAIA team) 68 to 40 last night, hitting 6 of 22 from the three point line; and

2. Louisville beat Bellarmine University (a Division II team) 65 to 46 last night, going 0 for 16 from three.

Ergo . . . the Huskers must be just about as good as the Cardinals!! . . . let's make sure Akoy knows this!!! [smiley face goes here--can't get it to work]

Bellarmine is one of the best division 2 schools in the country though. They won the championship 2 years ago and was ranked as high as #1 last season. They are pre-season #4 this season as well.

So . . . maybe we aren't quite as good. But close?

maybe not so much. On top of that Bellarmine also had their schools best player, probably ever statistically, decided to forego his senior year to go pro overseas just over a month ago and they still rank this team as #4. I only know and follow Bellarmine due to going to college in the same conference, the GLVC. They are a D-2 equivalent to Duke or UNC with the tradition.
