I know we haven't even played PSU yet, but just wanted to give a little update...

Minnesota's leading scorer, Andre Hollins, is doubtful for the game against us with a sprained ankle suffered against Wisconsin

Looked pretty painful and happened just 30 seconds into the game. But then they went on the rock Wisconsin all night without him so who knows if they need him or not against us. Almost would like to see him try to play against us, slightly hobbled, so as to screw with Minnesota's chemistry while trying to play with only 4 fully healthy players.

He's putting up Petteway like minutes and FT attempts.  He's arguably their best player.

They did just knock off top 10 Wisconsin without him though.

Im interested to see how they will be effected by having to prepare and game plan without him in the lineup. Could mess them up a bit.

Injuries for MSU keep piling up... Branden Dawson ( 10 pts, 9 reb) will be out 4-5 weeks after breaking his hand while watching film

LOL! It doesn't get any better. Tim Miles needs to bring this up to the team so we don't have any players hitting things during frustrating film sessions.

Dre Hollins confirmed OUT, Big Mo' Walker played the game of his life against Wisconsin. That won't happen again in Lincoln. This game needs to be a "W".

Where did you see that Hollins is confirmed out for Sunday?

On the BTN

Thanks!

Also, just read this:

We really need to get this win and find a way to beat Indiana at home and get some mojo back after last nights tough loss.

This!!! As much as last nights loss sucked... We need to protect the home floor for the rest of the year. Steal one on the road and first round B10 tourney and we are still right there for post season play. All is not lost though it's fading.

This team is going to full court pressure us more than any team we'll face.

Are we going to try and exploit it or do the thing where we make 10 passes before we get over the time line or something in between?

Yeah that pressure is going to make things tough, especially with basically 1 day of prep, as I believe NU had to take Friday off for the mandated 1 day break each week.

Plus Minny has some bruisers inside, so combined with the full court pressure and short turnaround time, it's not exactly the best matchup for us - this would be a really good win for NU, regardless of whether we're facing one Hollins or two.
