As I said earlier, do people really believe this is going to get better? This is the new basketball gentlemen. You can't play defense and actually stop people from scoring without using your body to stop them. The way they want the game to be played now, it would be 160-155 every game. I would be curious to see a stat on what percentage of UMASS possessions there has NOT been a foul called. I bet it's under 10%.

ESPN needs to start blowing up the NCAA over this new rule.  They seem to be the ones with the most influence anymore.  I'd like to see a story every time a game goes over 50 fouls.  INSANE.

I"ve been okay with the rule changes, but this second half is pretty unwatchable. Unfair to the kids, too. Literally a foul every single defensive possession is a bit much to overcome.

For future planning purposes, make sure you guys schedule accordingly to plan for 2.5-3 hour college basketball games now. TV networks used to allow 2 hours for basketball games to be completed. We are 2 minutes away from 2 hours, and there is still 8:04 left to play.

ESPN 2 hour windows getting to make people miss a lot of basketball in that 2nd game.  Although that game will pry be a foul fest as well but no 1-1 in early going of games so lot of ball will be missed.  It is getting taken a bit overboard.  Somewhere in between last year and this would be better.  Hopefully it gets to that eventually.
