The Coach Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 So now we have to worry about keeping him committed for another year? Quote
TheKamdyMan Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 So now we have to worry about keeping him committed for another year? I don't see it being an issue so long as Harriman doesn't leave. He is the one who brought him to the states and placed him. Hooper 1 Quote
hhcmatt Posted October 21, 2013 Author Report Posted October 21, 2013 So now we have to worry about keeping him committed for another year? Would you rather worry about this or rather worry about not finding enough of the kind of players we need for 2015? Quote
Norm Peterson Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 So, would he be a commit for the '15 class or the '14 class? If he's a '15 commit, then we still need to fill a vacancy, correct? Quote

Yes it means that there's still a spot open. He will basically do what Charles Jackson did and take a year off to get his grades in order. Norm Peterson 1 Quote
colhusker Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 Dang I know I am getting old but good golly he looks like he should be in junior high. Nice get btw Quote
throwback Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 Great news! Sounds like the kind of player who has plenty of raw potential. I like Coach Miles' chances of getting the most out of him. And good to get that verbal now with some other large programs starting to show interest. jdostal 1 Quote

Huskerpapa Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 This kid has the appearance of having the "it" factor on tape. Hopefully we will stick with us and he can step into an important role for years to come. "Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi" Quote
hskr4life Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 Does this mean we recruit him with the scholarship we have open now for 2014 and just use it for 2015 and keep all of our 2015 ships open?? Quote
hhcmatt Posted October 21, 2013 Author Report Posted October 21, 2013 Miles initial press conference statement about limiting international recruits was a philosophy that he would now differ with after adding Chris Harriman to the staff. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 Either that or he has grown to love the taste of schnapps. It is getting cold out, don't cha ya know. Quote

There are scholarships that open for 2015. Biggs, Rivers, and Smith all come off the books for the class Pinder will be apart of so theres plenty of room. Quote

FredsSlacks Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 cool. So basically we got in on him before potentially blowing up at his juco school like sai did? Quote
HuskerCager Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 This reminds me of the commit we got from this guy a few years ago. Hopefully Keanu continues to develop, masters his GPA and stays loyal to the Huskers.http://www.hawaiiathletics.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11879 Quote
AuroranHusker Posted October 21, 2013 Report Posted October 21, 2013 Great to have Keanu as a commit - welcome to Husker Nation, Mr. Pinder. We look forward to your playing above the rim for years to come. GBR! Quote
