High flying 6'8" Australian Forward Keanu Pinder becomes Nebrasketball's first commit of the class of 2015-16. Pinder has been playing for the Australian U19 National team and finishing up his high school career for prep national powerhouse Sunrise Academy in Bel Aire, Kansas.

Pinder is the sun of former NBA, Harlem Globetrotter, and Austrailan Pro basketball player Kendal "Tiny" Pinder.

So now we have to worry about keeping him committed for another year?

Would you rather worry about this or rather worry about not finding enough of the kind of players we need for 2015?   B)

So, would he be a commit for the '15 class or the '14 class? If he's a '15 commit, then we still need to fill a vacancy, correct?

Yes it means that there's still a spot open. He will basically do what Charles Jackson did and take a year off to get his grades in order.

This kid has the appearance of having the "it" factor on tape.  Hopefully we will stick with us and he can step into an important role for years to come.  "Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi"

Miles initial press conference statement about limiting international recruits was a philosophy that he would now differ with after adding Chris Harriman to the staff.

...Wait...

What happened to the weeks of twitter suspense? No cryptic 140 character messages? Where were his lists? And why didn't we get weekly updates to those lists?

I knows how are we going to fill 40 pages?

Doesn't he know how it works on this site? We need to panick before we can rejoice.

Darn him he ruined everything. ;)

Does this mean we recruit him with the scholarship we have open now for 2014 and just use it for 2015 and keep all of our 2015 ships open??

they will still take 1 more player at the minimum in this class though it may come in the spring.  There are scholarships that open for 2015.

Biggs, Rivers, and Smith all come off the books for the class Pinder will be apart of so theres plenty of room.

Yeah.  It's the same thing Hammond did.  Just committed right there, out of the blue...no playing around.

Bastards.
