FredsSlacks Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 team picture thoughts: Shavon and Fuller seem to both be very close to 6'7, and both just turned 18 and 19 years old. Tai looks huge for a point guard. I think he will start from day 1. Sergej is a legitimate 7'1. We need him to contribute. seems to be a little stronger. Pitchford could be our player with the most potential right now. nobody on our team has his size and athletecism. Player i'm most worried about based on the eyeball test is leslee smith. Seems like he might be out of shape and not as tall as i thought he would be. On top of that, he has had many injuries. Hopefully i'm wrong about him. I think dejuan blair measured like 6'5 at the nba combine, so i guess his height may not be that big of a deal. It appears that benny parker has not had a growth spurt. The hawk: I'm not sure how we use him this year. I could see him redshirt. I don't see him taking many minutes away from gallegos. Quote

I think it was Rosenthal who wrote a couple of weeks ago that one of the things that caught his eye over the summer was how much more athletic Smith was than what he thought he'd be. Quote
GoBigRed Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 Brilliant! That instantly needs to be a permanent sign for the Red Zone. Someone needs to recreate that. Silverbacked1 and Jadler 2 Quote

49r Posted September 12, 2013 Author Report Posted September 12, 2013 I think that Rule #6 can't be overemphasized. Funny, though, how it was the first non-underlined rule... Quote

Thanks so much for listing these. I couldn't quite read them on the twitter post. Those are pretty hilarious. I think Coach talked about these on one of his call in shows last year....sounds real familiar. Quote
lang Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 I finally figured out that there is sound on the Tai dunk video. If you haven't heard it, you gotta. Those guys are really having some fun. I've listened to it several times and it cracks me up. hhcmatt 1 Quote

But it's nice to see like the original 9 rules written out on an envelope. That rocks so hard. I can envision these rules being legendary, something you see the TV broadcast people put on the screen during games. Or on tee-shirts. Quote
