Would you take a chance on this kid?  He was pretty well thought of coming out of HS.  He is a South Dakota kid.  Does Coach Miles provide him his final college opportunity?

had a colorado state offer so you have to assume miles knows about him, and nebraska offered so you know he had interest. I don't see why we wouldn't want to add another Florida transfer even with the troubled past. Helps balance the classes too

You don't have to do much surfing to find this guy has been in trouble with authorities on multiple counts.  It is also interesting that his announcement to transfer was last October, but I find little about him online since then (maybe that's a good thing).  You have to wonder what he has been up to the last 6 months.

If you're up to doing a Google news search to see what's happened to Larson since October, just know that the Wal-Mart employee who puked up 14 bags of heroin while sitting in his Camaro in the Wal-Mart parking lot . . . is not the same Cody Larson.

So what has he been up to? Donovan said in October that Cody has lost the desire to play basketball, at least at the level required in UF practices.

I say go for it.  Maybe he's grown up.  He went to the same highschool I used to.  If he was treated like Joe Krabbenhoft was back when I was there it makes sense why he has an attitude problem....buncho princesses.

Well, we know he's gotten in trouble OFF the basketball court, but what's he done at Florida since he's been there ON the basketball court?  Anything?  Buehler?

 

He's had two seasons where he accumulated no stats according to ESPN.  And one season where he averaged 5.7 minutes and 0.5 points.  

 

I vote no way.  (Assuming I get a vote in the deal.)
