TheKamdyMan
Michigan's on the semester system. They're mid semester right now. There's not anything for him to enroll into right now. well even if they werent he'd still have to graduate from SLCCC to transfer which I doubt they are done with school for the year at this point. hugh42
Looks like we may have made an offer to this G/F...looks like he was a one-time walkon at Michigan??? Sai Tummala (6-6/2013) has been offered by Brown, Penn, Binghamton, Drake, Stephen F Austin, Santa Clara, BYU and Nebraska. Colorado State is also showing heavy interest. Tummala is averaging 14.2 points and 6 rebounds per game this season. http://www.jucorecruiting.com/salt-lake-cc-players-seeing-strong-interest-heading-into-national-tournament/ A couple more videos of Sai. Can't get the second link to work. Feel free to paste or fix. Norm Peterson
GATA
From Rosenthal's LJS story... Said Michigan coach John Beilein of Tummala at the time: “He may be our most athletic player. Aside from maybe Trey Burke (this year’s Big Ten player of the year), he’s one of our quickest players.”
bobcat402
with the right training and weights he could easily play at 6'8 6'7 at 230ish and still maintain that explosiveness, look at his shoulders...scary...small ball lineup would be tremendous
Swan88
This Sai Tummala thread isn't nearly long enough. So lets get it kick started again with the Brian Rosenthal report on Tuesday that, "Sai Tummala . . . is expected to make an official visit [to Lincoln] soon." Surely we can fret over something on this. Hmmmm . . . here's the ticket: let's say that, as soon as BYU is finished with the NIT next week, Sai will probably make a visit there and will probably not make his final choice until right before school starts in August. It's his birthday or something. There. That ought to get things started!
Norm Peterson
Hmmm. Something to fret over, huh? Well, Sai doesn't have a handler. That we know of. But we could FIND him one.

For players to sign with a D-1 school for next season, which the next season any basketball starts is this fall, means he'd have to sign by May 15. Norm Peterson
This is the 2013 class. The 2013 class had an early signing period in the fall of 2012 and then has a late signing period in the spring of 2013. Sai would be a part of the 2013 class and they would have to sign by May 15. They would begin play this coming fall. The 2014 class would come in for the '14-'15 season. Now, if Sai had signed in Nov 2012, he'd still be a part of the 2013 class. BUT, if he signs in November 2013, he'll be part of the 2014 class. Weird, but, y'know, calendars and such.
Swan88
Or . . . he could do like Sek Henry, who signed in August of 2006 for the 2006-07 class. Keep in mind that the suggestion above of signing right before school starts in August was intended as a joke !! It's not recommended procedure. Norm Peterson
For those who say this kid isn't big enough to play the 4, I would just point out that Arsalan Kazemi for Oregon is listed at 6'7" and 225#. About Sai's size.

Norm Peterson
I said this kid's offers would blow up if he were returning for another year in juco. Now that he's been named a juco AA, his offers might blow up anyway. Please get him here for a visit and hold him down until April 17 and then hold the pen for him while he scribbles his signature.
