Two things can be true at once. It’s not a one or the other. Just because we’re awful on the offensive end, doesn’t mean that we got a good whistle.

Defense showed up on both sides. Michigan was blowing up our stuff all game and doubling Brice. Connor making some shots wouldn't helped a lot. I've mentioned I'm not a fan of his before, but he's the only shooter they have. He has to show up from deep.

Maybe.  There were already two 7-footers set inside.  Tough to shoot over.  We probably got as good of look as anything else.  If anything I would have liked to see a timeout and set something up for Williams off a screen.

Griffiths would've helped space the floor tonight. Hit a few shots and give Williams some room to drive. Ulis should never see the floor again. NU needs shooting and rebounding. Griffiths can provide both. It's painfully obvious.

I would agree, but at this point there's a reason he's not playing. I wouldn't bank on that changing with 3 regular season games left

Nebraska had 10-12 chances to win that game, and basically couldn't make simple plays or were intimidated at the rim & missed easy shots (then bricked the FTs, a la Morgan). If it weren't for Brice & Sam being efficient, the shooting percentage of the rest of the roster was Jr. High level. Still, a few more opportunities to get some dubs. Tonight was a missed big-time opportunity, however.

Every loss is the refs fault in here. If that’s your first reaction especially in a game like this you’re a whiny mental midget. We can’t control the refs.. we can control 16/62 shooting. Quit whining and make a shot.
