It will be difficult to make up those games because of time and distance.  NW certainly gave Maryland a battle.

And Maryland lost another player with a bad-looking ankle injury

Those games at Northwestern have with USC, and UCLA could have seeding implications it's not fair to the other teams that played USC, and UCLA do not have Northwestern play them. Northwestern could have played those games when those fires were going on all the other teams that were scheduled to play out on the West Coast seem to be able to do it.

I see sellers was back when she got hurt and the game before the one they played last night it looked like it wasn't a very good outcome for her.

I agree but it may not be logistically feasible.  It wouldn’t hurt us if we played an exhausted Wildcat team.

The men had to do it back in the covid days. I could be wron, but dodn't they have to play 3 games in 7 days.

Cannot remember.

I do, in 21/22 the men played 5 games in a 12 day stretch. Starting on Feb 18 and ending on Mar 1, with the longest stretch of 3 days between games. With 3 of the being played with 1 days rest, So it can be done.

True, but we didn’t have to travel to California. It’s a tough situation.

They could meet half way. And it's not like you are going from the east coast to the west coast.

In reality, the Wildcats have zero chance of winning either game. Whichever of those teams grab the last two spots in the Big 10 Tournament will be going home quickly either way. I guess it is nice to say you went, but the bottom of the conference has played terrible basketball all year long.

That is my point, there for it would knock them out of the B1G tournament. As it is now, they would in. Playing 2 less games.

Is there any truth that NW didn’t want to make up the games?  What other recourse is there for the B1G than forfeiture?

If it is true that NW didn't want to make them up. Then they should forfeit those games.
