Prediction: Weather+volleyball=lack of crowd effect on Indiana tonight. Those who attend will have to increase their volume tonight! Addendum: My perceived lack of crowd support ALMOST caused me to change my previous HHS prediction... but then I didn't. Sounds like Ken Pom is also conflicted. I wonder if he ever calls a game a "toss-up".

So Fred once again had a presser where he talked about taking the results from the university sports performance guys and throwing them away.

The last time he did this was after a 73-51 beatdown in Maryland on Jan 27. We bounced back to beat Michigan St Wisconsin at home in OT

Not gonna lie, I'm considering not making the trip from Omaha. Freezing rain / drizzle is no joke.

You'll want to check for yourself but looks like the weather won't start in Lincoln until 9 and Omaha until 11

They just called my son in to start going and putting premelt down. His boss told him to go to the game tonight because it will be much later before they go and clean everything.
His crew does the Innovation Campus and there is both the volleyball games and the Stars play too.
Gonna be a late one for them

You guys get the moisture and all we get out here is the frickin' wind. And yes I'm in a frickin' Friday the 13th grumpy mood.

Anyone know of they plan to show the volleyball game on the screen during time outs and such?

I’m really hoping the Trev’s beat wisonsin in 5 very long sets and the husker game doesn’t start until 9 or so.

Im also curious how many people are trying to do both. If I’d have been able to get my hands on affordable vball tickets I was going to try to do both.

Must be drivers preparing for the crashes..have seen a number of posts about car crashes in parts of Lincoln due to slick streets.

I love this website, but I need to call out how irresponsible of a tweet this was. The roads are absolutely terrible in Omaha and between Omaha and Lincoln (can't speak for Lincoln). What did you do, go to weather.com and look at the forecast? Do not try to play armchair weatherman in an attempt to get more people to come to the game - leave it to the experts. I sure hope no one there are no injuries - or worse - tonight due to this.

[And yes, he later tweeted more than two hours later that people should plan accordingly after I called him out on this on Twitter. Just please - leave the weather forecasting to those who know what they are doing. I'm sure most of us know that Jake Muhleisen's grandparents died in an accident after a Husker basketball game on icy roads.]

Downvote away. Don't care.
