main things I hope to see:  1) Markowski getting it into the hoop - we need 50% + for conference play; 2) Hargrove taking another step forward - playing with confidence; 3) ditto for Bozan; 4) Weidner making explosive penetration cuts to the rim; 5) ditto for Moriarty

Getting to like Rimdal more and more. She knows what she's doing. Makes few mistakes. Good awareness of where everyone is on the floor. makes assists....and to boot, she can shoot threes and drive to basket.  Third best scorer on team, and as a sub. Get's rebounds too.

You might think I'm crazy, but she reminds me more and more (as a player) of Jazz Shelly.

Nebraska's 8-8 on FTs and 4-6 on threes, and still only up by a few points is not exactly a great sign for the effort overall.... but at least NU seems to be able to score some easy ones at the line!

Now 10-10 on FTs and 5-7 on threes. Seven-point advantage for NU.

It's a good thing we are playing a poor opponent or we would be way behind.  We are terrible at finishing at the rim.  Seems like we are getting outhustled  to much. I saw Hargrove have position two times and had the ball taken away from her.  She needs to get a lot more aggressive.  Also I would like to see her attack the basket if she can.  I don't remember ever seeing her do it.  This game is just like the game we played last week with a lesser opponent.

I'm sure they work with Markowski taking shots around the basket all the time.  She just doesn't have a good touch around the basket. I don't think you can teach touch.  Her whole career has been that way. However without her we would have been in trouble and not won a lot of games .

Yes, it's a double-edged sword, it seems...
