Rimdal is shooting about 50% three's so far this season.  There's your leading candidate for shooting guard. She's pretty sure handed overall.

Petrie really has matured from last year. Is way more comfortable on the floor.

Real concerned about Potts.

Sloppy sloppy sloppy tonight.

Potts led the team in both scoring and rebounding as well as playing respectable defense against one of an opponent’s bigs.  No one player can replace her.  Thankfully we have other scorers but rebounding and interior d now become big question marks.  Last night the team rebounded well and played generally solid d, but the caliber of opposition will soon ramp up significantly.  Most B1G teams play two bigs so Petrie and Hargrove will be keys going forward.  And the other largely unspoken factor is the play of Markowski, which has to get much better.

"so Petrie and Hargrove will be keys going forward." ..... So far I think I can see development/advancement in Petrie's play from last year.  I really thought that Hargrove would adapt more quickly to D-1 play and perhaps she will but right now she doesn't seem able to contribute much.  Her size and strength put her in a good position to contribute, but she needs to get confident and assert herself - as Hake as done.  But i hope we don't  wait a year for that to happen

One thought is to place another shooter into the line up and allow Britt room to roam.  Basically four guard with one big.

Who are you thinking about? Hake or Moriaty. All though Moriaty is a 4.

Joining Alexis

* Britt

* Berte

* Logan or Callin

* Allison

You the leverage then bigs in the sub role.

Probably not realistic, yet it is somewhat polar opposite of what the men are doing with their starting line up.

Actually Moriarity is a three and finally playing like we all hoped she could.  She is a very important piece going forward especially with the limited time Allison may get.  One additional player we shouldn't forget about is Petra Bozan.  She will become more valuable as the season progresses.

Some things in life just suck. This is one of those things 😭

I’m heartbroken for Natalie, for her teammates, for her coaches, for all of us fans who passionately follow NU WBB.

Friends, this is a gigantic sh*t sandwich and we’re all gonna have to take a bite.

It’s like we’re cursed or something.

Hopefully Moriarty gets solid minutes to continue to prove her mettle. I like her game.

I loved the Way Natalie Potts #22 played for Nebraska.  Clearly this season she demonstrated being more assertive, more confidence and more leadership. IMO she was our best player.  Let’s all hope for a complete recovery so this young woman can lead our future squads.

Her comeback will be epic. Big fan of Nat.
