Need more big's and length.

After the NCAA tourney it would seem evident we need more length, if we want to keep up. Vey few teams in the sweet 16 don't have a couple of long 4's and 5's.

The B1G is going to see more of it soon as the west coast teams come to town.    it just is what it is.

Unfortunately, in the last decade, most tall athletic high school girls in the state of Nebraska are gravitating towards volleyball and eschewing basketball. Don’t know if I see that trend reversing anytime soon.

i read where A. Stewart attended the NDSU-Gopher wnit game at williams arena. gopher?........or, maybe a bison? or, could mean nothing although she is from both areas. maybe just there to watch her classmates.

it would be huge for the bison (if that should happen). i have watched a handful of the bison games this past season and they have a 6' 3" "guard" Elle Evans who i think is from illinois. she is very talented. i believe she will be a junior. kinda wondered if she might hit the portal and try the next level, but, there are deep pockets at ndsu.

meant to add:  mara braun was limping around after the game (she had foot surgery a while back). she didn't play in the wyoming game.

We should look to add 2-3 players in the portal. Kennadi and Logan may not be able to play next year.

Fit is important.  I'd want a big that gets 8-10pts., boards me 8-10, blks me 2-3 and alters about 20 shots and I want to keep this player for about 3 years.  I'd also like a grad. transfer guard because we have a frosh. pt. guard coming in,  arguably our best guard coming off back to back injuries sooo... I think we need that back court player that's been through the battles etc. to stabilize things a bit.

What is on your or for that matter anyone elses wish list?  Besides the cliche'd length and athleticism

I think you pretty well nailed it.
We need guards for sure with the situation as it is right now health wise and definitely a big who can rebound.

Your first mention, "a big", to me is our most immediate need, both as a backup next season, and going forward.  Maybe 2?  Watching this years NCAA tournament, the size and athleticism of women rosters is incredible. Any additions that improve our depth, athleticism, and size is not only welcome, but necessary in my book.
