Just watched Iowa DESTROY Va Tech 71-52.  The post Clark era has begun, and there doesn't appear to be as much drop-off as I had hoped. Although she only scored 20,  transfer Luci Olson looks like 85% of Kaitlyn Clark. The real star of Hawkeye show was Addison O'Grady who went a (no kidding!) 9 for 9 from the field and looked downright Gustafson like.  Two years ago she  had the size but none of the moves.  Whoever does the coaching of the bigs at IU has turned her into a polished post player.

There 4/5's are or was coach by their new head coach. I have looked a little to see how McCabe is doing. She has started all three games they have played. She is taking over at the point for them for now. They finally have Affolter back after she had minor surgery. McCabe had been averaging in the mid 20's but the VT game had just over 11 minutes with Affolter coming off the bench in her first action of the year. Wonder how long McCabe starts before she moves to the bench?
