Why is she not playing

She was injured at the end of the Rutgers game. Looked like a knee from the way she was hobbling off the floor. Announcers just said “leg injury”.

Two struggling teams ......with bad refs.......it's kind of painful to watch

Got to believe we've got the talent to win this one

Dee Kanter is suppose to be one of the best in the womens game though.

So since Hake has been starting her play has been below what she was giving us before the change.

The grass  is sometimes not as green on the other side of the fence. As it seems.

https://huskers.com/news/2024/02/6/huskers-fight-way-to-sweep-at-michigan

Ann Arbor, Mich. - Alexis Markowski scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead a tough, total team effort by the Huskers to fight their way to a 65-59 women's basketball victory over Michigan at Crisler Arena on Tuesday night.

  • Playing on the road on short rest after their toughest loss of the season, the Huskers battled their way to a Big Ten win despite playing without starting point guard Darian White. The Huskers were also working to overcome several nagging injuries to Jaz Shelley, who finished with 10 points, six rebounds and four steals. She also had several key steals late in the game to hold Michigan to just one field goal in the final four minutes, although she was officially credited with no steals.
  • Markowski gave the Huskers their first lead of the night on their opening possession of the second half with her layup 20 seconds into the third period.
  • Markowski contributed one of the game's biggest plays with a tip-in putback of Shelley's free throw miss to complete a four-point possession and give the Huskers a 52-50 lead.

The Huskers led the rest of the way with big defensive plays and a pair of free throws from Krull in the final minute. Markowski then got another huge offensive rebound on a missed free throw to prevent any hopes of a Michigan miracle.

i listened to Matt and Jeff while watching on tv. i've always enjoyed them even when Jeff goes on some word salad, but, rather disappointed in both of them for making excuses for all the missed layups. i'm sure some of you heard them......it's February in the Big Ten, and the legs are getting a bit tired. ummm.......NO fellas.

rather ugly, but, very good win! yes, liking Petrie. future looks pretty good for her. and, i admit, at first i kinda had ??????

just like AM.....if Potts and/or Petrie are around the rim, gotta try and get them a touch!

great to see Coley finish underneath!

 Coley is a good player, but seems hesitant, like she doesn't quite know what to do, which makes her seem slower than what she is.

she just seems to be a bit timid to me........if that's the correct word. i think that's what may be hurting her game at this level. jmo.
