Kudos to Coley for making two key defensive plays after sitting all game. I would prefer Jaz drive to the basket she may have been able to dish or draw a foul.

Obviously Jaz can drive the ball and get fouled easier than her 3-pt. shooting this game. It's inexplicable to me to settle for a triple. . .

Well, we just made it that much more difficult to finish high in the standings.  No other way to put it, it just wasn't a good enough effort, esp. at home, on either side of the floor to get the W.  We always fight to the end, but the shots just did not fall.   The way RU  was shooting, they seemed destined to get this.  All us fans can do is see how the NU women bounce back the rest of the way.  Definitely discouraging to say the least.  GBR!!

I would have felt bad for Rutgers if we had won, because they deserved it. We had every chance to win. I don’t understand why Shelly took a 3 when we were only down one. Especially with how poorly she was shooting today. Sometimes this team really has me scratching my head. I really hope White is ok. She’s playing good basketball right now.

Got 3 possessions / chances at the go ahead bucket in the final 30 seconds - can't ask for much more than that. The last 2 shots were good looks, all things considered, by your top 2 players. Probably a little unlucky one of those two didn't drop. 

 

But if you want to be an NCAA team, you just can't put yourself in that position to be a little unlucky because of the putrid performance the other 39:30 at home against a team like RU. Disastrous loss.

AM missing all those close shots hurt a lot. She makes half of them and this goes from a loss to a win. Rutgers suited up 9 today. They earned this win.
