Boy do the Trojans miss Bronny

I mean— if he’s on the team, they probably cut this loss down to a 71-42 type of loss. His 6 PPG would have been vital to getting this thing under 30.

More importantly, what does the 7th place trophy for that tournament look like? Asking for a certain sweater-vested co-worker that I'm going to see tomorrow.

What happened to the tall guy?

Did 7th place there earn any NIL money like 1st? Serious question.

The winning team of this tournament will receive $9 million in NIL for the 2024 competition, and although pay-for-play style tournaments are against NCAA regulations, each participating team will receive $1 million in NIL payouts.

The cash used to pay these teams definitely did not come from gate receipts. There was hardly anyone in the seats at the games that I watched.

...but does it show up in a brown bag in a hotel room? Creighton has very particular preferences on how they transfer money.

I’ve watched the second half of this NW vs Iowa game, and I gotta say, I’ve found myself rooting for Iowa. NW has big guys that whine about everything to pair with Barnhizer who whines about everything. One of NWs bigs even got a foul upgraded to a flagrant by acting as though someone Essegian’s size threw him down. Martinelli is really good and can make something out of nothing.
