Hoiberg's team defense under Loenser keeps getting better and better. The sky's the limit for this team, especially if the defense can remain as effective as they have been lately. Of course the offense still has to outscore its opponents, a situation that Rutgers has been struggling with off & on, as witnessed on Sunday. NU can do some historic stuff -- time to put up or shut up. LET'S DO THIS, BIG RED!! GBR Always.

Isn't it a bit fascinating that our defensive coach is Loenser?  If I recall correctly,  they brought Howard in due to his defensive accumin as well.  I do think the coaches mix and match well.

Agreed. They all have unique abilities that mesh well together. And it looks like the players respect one another, which applies to everybody on the NU staff.

Doesn’t Howard teach the concept that we seem to be using?

 

Loenser is more the fine tuning guy right?
