The music gods are smiling down on me.  I'm actually going to be in Lincoln that weekend for the Michigan game. Some in our pledge class are having a reunion at a BnB relatively close to campus.  I've been trying to see DDG for months, and now, you tell me I get to see him for free?  What a country!

This old man’s take….these nights have turned into weird, awkward, gimmicky things.  I’m not gonna go and regret it again.  I don’t want to see meaningless screw around time.  Much rather get a glimpse of some of what they do in a typical practice and then a real scrimmage.

I guess I enjoy the event.  I even enjoy the music.  It is the genesis of the basketball season.  Everything tends to be rosey.

Coulda swore someone posted in this thread that Fred did things different last year ( it wasn’t just goofin off time )?  That might temp me to go if I knew that was more likely.  Sorry to sound like a snob but “precious time is slippin away” (Van Morrison).

It was a lot more drills and stuff last year, still did a 3 PT competition IIRC and a little dunking
