Yeah - problem is they probably don't want to let him sit for a week and a half plus. I'd love to see them add a game Monday in Lincoln vs whoever - Wayne, UNK, Doane even - and give Walsh the start there. Get him on that once a week throwing pattern.

 

Otherwise they start him vs KSU Tuesday and throw around 50 pitches so he can throw Sunday vs Meechicken.

 

But adding a non-D1 game would be a great way to let some of those younger arms to get some more experience (and hopefully confidence). Hood is close to coming back, so it'd be a good spot to get him into a game with little to no pressure.
