The whole UNI staff has quietly sat this whole second half. Interesting🤨

Wouldn't be surprised if a WNIT rep. had something to say to UNI at the half.   And them getting into the NU bench might have finally trip a trigger for the WNIT.  That's an unwritten rule in any sport. The other teams bench is off limits.

"Clean up your act or you'll never see a WNIT game again"

Maybe not said quite like that but, whatever was said...it was probably close.

Thought so for two years ....Moriarity is not seeing the floor enough. She plays fast, can handle the ball and shoot. Sometimes I thought she is just to fast a player for our sort of a half court offense.

Anyway...great game Kendall.

The other Kendall played well too !

Awesome Issie !!  double - double (only player on both teams)

UNI just was too slow for us. We play a bit quicker than them. Our height was a factor too. And.....our defense was effective. We defended their inside scorers well.

And later we defend their 3.

Our home crowd finally got into it and made a big difference. We just play so well at home. Nice job NU fans...and team !!

Suppose there's any chance we'll get another home game?

Why do you need to know?

Fans want to know.  Those concerned about Sam, would like to know.   Wouldn't you like to know?

And, probably a 'not too subtle' nod to the lack of transparency of this staff.  Example:   How is Trinity Brady doing?  How about Dillard?

With Nebraska being the NO.1 seed you would think that we would have home court advantage and with the money running out the wazoo you would think we could outbid everyone.

Yeah, that makes sense. Glad NU got a big win--must have been a fun one at PBA!! GBR

If the fans don't know, our next opponents don't know.  Complicates their game planning. She 's hurt.  I wish her well and hope she comes back next game.

I wonder what the UNI coach said to Amy Williams afterwards.... oh, to be a fly on a shoulder. 😅

Amy seemed speechless (not in a good way).

Bugs,  There is no #1 seed. NIT doesn't use the same seeding format that NCAA and conference tourneys use.  Huskers just happen to appear in the upper left corner of the bracket. It doesn't imply any estimate of favorite vs underdog.

They are on the top of the brcket, so they kind of are. Also, the media has said as much as well.

yes, they appear on top, but it doesn't mean anything.  It does not imply any inference of strength or impact on scheduling or preference for hosting.   SOME team has to be at the top of the list, but it's just random.
