You could have Kansas vs. Kentucky and potentially still have a double digit win.  This was a year of upsets and CU had a very favorable path to get the National Championship game and they didn't do it.  If San Diego State didn't go over 11 minutes without a field goal, it might have been a closer game.

They might have done enough to get an official bid into the Pac-12 though. Good for them. But they're increasing average market value to the conference.

Oh agree. I think they're a gem of a school for some conference to pick up. Surprised the Big 12 isn't showing interest. Very good basketball program, new football stadium, great location, and gets you into CA with close proximity to LA.
