Just wanted to add - thank the lord in heaven this staff finally got some sense in them and quit double teaming #0 in the post. Biggest adjustment that was made at halftime. Ridiculous concept.

Hopefully this concept follows us into future games and next season. Drives me nuts when we double no matter where it’s caught or who catches it. Walker although he gives up some height is a pretty dam solid 1 on 1 defender to always do it anyhow IMO.

I think what's really important is that not only are teams putting their better/best defenders on Keisei, but they are putting length on him (Battle, McConnell, Murray off the top of my head). Allows for other guys like Griesel to get more favorable matchups from smaller defenders

I've been thinking about that for awhile.  You have to put length on either Keisei or Griesel.  Kind of pick your poison for opponents, unless you have a bunch of length.

Kelly Pfeiffer doesn't exactly have a history of making 50-50 calls go Nebraska's way 50% of the time - I'd say the stare down didn't work in the long run.

When saw Pfeiffer, Scirotto and Carstensen were refs I didn't think huskers had any chance. But agree whole heartedly with stare down revenge factor.

Thanks. Never saw a video of it. Heard elsewhere he had stared down fans leaving. No matter the situation, he's a big weirdo. lol

That video is funny—good moves by the ref!!  He won twice: once in the pacing toward each other (the coach blinked first and backed down), and then at the end of the Husker game!!
