This may be a tough one. Pretty equal teams, that have played well at times against good teams.  Don't see a blowout for either team.

If we get hot at the three, through out the game, we'll probably do well.  Just depends on which is the hot shooting team overall.

But we've been attacking the basket better recently (wanted to see that for a long time)

Mich St starting 5 usually does the scoring, pretty much like us. So bench production may be big.

We need the win to get a shot at the NCAA's. Last thing I saw we were one of the last few teams out. Would seem we're probably in pretty good shape for NIT

One thing to watch is how the game is called.  MSU will physically beat on us, daring  the officials to make the call. How we and the officials react is key.

Ditto on that.   I watched some of the Minnesota vs Penn State game yesterday.  Looked like some of the gophers were slamming into Penn State girls, no whistles.  Penn State players did a nice job, remaining composed, with the level of officiating, and the injuries they sustained during the game.

The whole 'physical" game thing has gotten worse and worse the last couple of years, and stepped up even more this year. The "face" of the game is beginning to spiral down.  See it all over the country, not just B1G.

It's one thing to be physical rebounding, but now it's beginning to see almost be deliberate fouls, smack down stuff...fights, knocking people down, elbows to face, etc etc

Some teams more so than others.

Yes, it's up to the refs (and conferences...& and even the NCAA I guess) to put some controls in place if they even want to control it. Just hate women's BBall to turn into thug ball.

Have to give Coach Amy credit, she doesn't subscribe to that crapola

....back to the game

Half time...

Plenty of game left. We're within striking distance. You do understand Mich St leads the B1G in streals/creating turnovers.

After our early slowstart with turnovers, now Mich St has more turnovers than us. Their ball handling is full of walks, etc. They try to play super fast but it has them making turnovers. AS long as the refs call the walks,   etc we'll be ok, and we're getting fouled a lot, ...the chaos is letting them get away with fouls. Come on refs.

Anyway we clawed our way back. Keep it up girls .
