In a van outside OU’s Lloyd Noble Center, Doc Sadler lives out another season in 45 years of coaching (journalstar.com)                  At least it isn't parked down by the river.

Had to be a scary situation on Sunday as the tornado in Norman passed probably less than a mile south of his location.

He had a Mississippi sunset posted on Facebook.   So maybe he wasn't at his van at the time...

I remember Doc telling a story about sleeping in his Office after a particularly tough loss in Norman.

Jeepers, gotta love Doc.  Sounds like him and Fred are still “good” from the article. I wish we could get Doc’s take on what all was going on last year ( that’d be something ).   I’ll never forget the mighty mites season ( ugh that loss to A & M ).  The day they gave tours to the new practice facility, Doc was in his new office and he sees our group coming.   He just busts open his doors and tells everyone to “ come on in”…. dude was awesome.  I still like to us his phrase “‘preciatecha”  ( translation = I appreciate you).

I remember him smiling at me at a game in Hattiesburg when I wore my NU gear to a Southern MS game. Always a pleasant guy.
