This Kinks song written by Ray, was a tribute to Brian Jones and his lifestyle, several years before his death.  Kinks version is better, but Peter Noone is so cute...

The one line they changed from the original was "the hubby's gone away" to "the help has gone away"

Unfortunately since the loss of Gary and Bando, our loss deficits have been steadily going up.  Can we break that trend tonight?  It's arguably our toughest game of the last four.  Maybe the Illini come out lacking intensity.  This group usually doesn't.  However, if the Illini are ready to go, the -14 line doesn't seem all that out there.

Last time out against Illinois, at home, DW scored 5 points.  Soo, the point spread SEEMS to look safe.  But hey, the last place team in the Big 12 beat the #1 team in overtime last night, overcoming a 23 point second half deficit...so I guess anything is possible.
