Neb Nets Posted December 28, 2022 Report Posted December 28, 2022 I fully expect Michigan to come out playing with an edge and spitting fire. No way have they forgotten NU bouncing them out of the B1G tourney back in March. whoopdeedoo and Red Don 1 1 Quote
12dozen Posted December 28, 2022 Author Report Posted December 28, 2022 I appreciate Nebraska fans taking the 'high road'. BUT, if the crowd today, BOO's Leigha Brown for 40 minutes, I won't have a problem with it. GBR Silverbacked1, Bugeaters1 and KLamp21 1 2 Quote
All About the Corn Posted December 28, 2022 Report Posted December 28, 2022 Today should be a good game. I hope we have officials that make good calls both ways. Too often they call phantom fouls or they totally ignore fouls right in front of them. Red Don 1 Quote
KLamp21 Posted December 28, 2022 Report Posted December 28, 2022 I'll never forget this being called a foul. Red Don 1 Quote

(Don't forget your Heart Pills) The Roads look clear - Get thee to PBA! This is your last chance (this year :) to SUPPORT the TEAM!!! Last year's B1G Tournament game vs #10 Michigan went down to the Wire (76-73), with Leigha Brown muffing & doing a face-plant on a last second, potentially game-winning throw-in, getting up and pleading with the officials for a foul). (during that game the Huskers Scored enough to Thwart the B1G Ref Theft) Edited December 28, 2022 by Red Don Quote
All About the Corn Posted December 28, 2022 Report Posted December 28, 2022 The last two games against Michigan featured some good defense from us. This is where we will miss Weidner the most in my view. whoopdeedoo and Red Don 2 Quote
12dozen Posted December 28, 2022 Author Report Posted December 28, 2022 The Kendall's can play good defense. I do wish they would play more with the feet, than the arms and hands. They tend to reach a bit much. I still like their effort. Red Don and Neb Nets 1 1 Quote
whoopdeedoo Posted December 28, 2022 Report Posted December 28, 2022 (edited) i have been trying to decide which player on the court antics i dislike the most.......Brown or Clark? i watched the North Carolina game.......uffda, if Michigan comes out playing like they did in that game, might be a long night. Michigan is better than i thought they would be. i think they found a good one in the freshman Evans. can't remember what country they found her in. Edited December 28, 2022 by whoopdeedoo Quote
All About the Corn Posted December 28, 2022 Report Posted December 28, 2022 whoop I would vote for Clark. Quote

Red Don Posted December 29, 2022 Report Posted December 29, 2022 Halftime Stats: Husker Ladies come alive and cut a 14 point deficit at the end of Q1 to 9 Points!!! (7 pts except for a buzzer-beater bucket my Michigan to end the half ) 35-26 Quote
Red Don Posted December 29, 2022 Report Posted December 29, 2022 It sure is nice seeing Nebraska playing aggressively and Making the Other Team feel uncomfortable for a change I like what I'm seeing on the floor! Quote
Red Don Posted December 29, 2022 Report Posted December 29, 2022 Matt Coatney just said that attendance was 8,150 tonight (Tim Milhouse (Matt's producer) said this is the 22nd highest attendance for a Husker WBB game). WAY TO GO FANS!!! 12dozen 1 Quote
caveman Posted December 29, 2022 Report Posted December 29, 2022 I really think we missed Weidners defense, but the bigger issue was the lack of post presence and lack of discipline on inbound plays Neb Nets 1 Quote
Neb Nets Posted December 29, 2022 Report Posted December 29, 2022 I don’t know, friends…the team looked out of sorts tonight. And it’s such a brutal conference….if they can manage to go .500 in conference play, I might consider that a successful season. We’re gonna miss Weidner in ways we don’t even fully realize yet.
