Purdue (9-0) vs. Nebraska (6-4) Game Thread

Don’t like how both Derrick and Sam have been on the bench while behind for two stretches here in the first half. They both played a ton of minutes against creighton. They have a week off after this game. Just keep them in. Can’t afford to get down by double digits to Purdue.

Give Purdue credit.  Their non shooters making 3's freshmen making off the dribble 2's which you want them taking.  We are not playing well on offense.  Huge missed layup by Walker that ended with compromised defense other end and 3 point play.  5 point swing plus momentum of having would be tie.

Very frustrated. Couldn't have played much worse in the first half. And that is 100% an indictment on our play, rather than a compliment to Purdue. Unforced errors, poor decisions, missed opportunities, wasted possessions.

Also frustrated with the lineups. Last possession of the first half and we sub in our three worst decision makers. Not a surprise we came up with a low percentage contested jumper. 

The refs suck, too.

Over and above the Biased Officiating (that's the only thing to call it - 'Uneven' doesn't even begin to explain the discrepancy); We are lacking Scoring Punch when our shots are not falling and we can't finish; simply missing several 'Good' looks.

We just lack a knock down shooter.  We aren’t playing terrible.  We could use a few breaks from the officiating.

I think the overabundance of BS calls is what makes Nebraska farming so abundant. We have been piled under tons of BS calls for decades.
