We need a new coach, fellas. A fresh start is desperately needed here.

And I say this as someone who was a full Hoiberg believer and just could have never believed it would come to this.

Couldn't believe the answer was rolling Keisei and CJ out there to watch Oklahoma make layups

We have such a difficult time scoring and running an offense.  Maybe OU was really good on defense but I think it’s a struggle on offense.

A mismatch roster full of guys with poor basketball skill sets.  Unbelievable that in year 4 we have this roster—not big, not athletic, and not skilled.  Hard to believe you can be 0-3 in those categories.    Culture and effort may be better than it’s been, but no way the talent level of this group can be successful at the Big 10 level.

And don’t cut this one loose early. Granted, Hoiberg likely will handle it better than Frost would have but Hoiberg needs to go down with the ship.

I’m not convinced he gets fired this year though. Even with how bad it’s going to be. I just don’t have faith that Trev will be eager to go thru another coaching change.

He will.  It’s over and Fred knows it.  He thought it was over last year.  Scheduled a 2 week  Maui trip during camp season.  Fred will handle it with class.  His heart condition helps him put it in perspective.

I can’t watch another year of this man. I can’t do it. And we lose anyone with a pulse, from a bad team.

Fred is an incredible human being and I’d even say an incredible coach/basketball mind. But this just has not worked out for whatever reason(s). And honestly I feel TERRIBLE for him and the guys. Zero animosity or hate here, and I’m not the type to be calling for a dudes job - I feel like this is more of a putting someone out of their misery situation.

I hope you’re right. There is no turning this thing around at this point. On to the next…..again.

I am nearly 100% positive Lawrence is better than both players at this point.  He can guard opposing D1 guards and make an open three.  He should have been given an honest look today.

Should be interesting with Walker.

Couldn't agree more. 95% of D-1 coaches could've done better the past 3+ years that what we've gotten. He just doesn't have the willingness to grind to ever be successful here.

Easily one of the two worst OU teams over the past 10+ years, and we were nowhere near good enough. And we had a million chances. 46 points over the final 36+ minutes. Ugh.

i swear coaches are just coming here to steal money at this point. lol

literally anyone could have done what frost and hoiberg have done in their times here.

And for far less money. 😢

Anyone know if the game will be televised? Sounds like it will be during the football game. Sort of like wondering whether your terms will be served concurrently when you have been convicted for two life sentences

4:30 PM on ESPN News I believe.  Which means we will get to start watching it at the 13:46 mark in the first half after the game before goes OT.

It's not ESPN'S fault, the 8th Amendment's prohibition against "cruel and unusual punishment" prevents them from broadcasting more than 30 minutes of this dumpster wreck train fire.

peeps here were laughing, as no one thought OU would be very good this year. I love my neighbors in this town, but it's kinda sad to see Okies here depressed that Nebraska has fallen on such hard times. Starts at the top: we had such a garbage run of ADs that downward was virtually guaranted. Here's hoping Trev can stop the bleeding.
