52-50 Louisville at 3:47 mins left in the 4th.
Leigha Brown out in the 4th, just said she wouldn't return (didn't hear why said chronic foot problem)

Two quick baskets by Louisville, leads 56-50 @ 1:55 left.

I think Naz misses two (tough) shots in traffic under the basket, lead
58-50.
Louisville showing their poise, open for 2 lay-ups, lead 58-50, 30 sec left.

Louisville fouled, 2 fts, make both, 60-50 @ 27.7 left.

Emily Engstler fouled, makes both Fts, Win 62-50.

Louisville, superior defense, with great poise at the end with steals at the end to put it away.

It's gonna be a great Final Four!

After all the seedings arguments...upsets, etc ect ...the top seeds 3 #1's, and 1 #2...are in the final 4.

 

While I agree with the Stanford as a great pick...also have a liking for S Carolina over Louisville. 

 

And S Carolina over Stanford/UConn winner.  S Carolina's bigs are very strong, and if it gets into a "free for all", mugging... then S Carolina

 

In the end of course...the only thing that really counts is the scoreboard(s)

Good Game, Louisville vs So Car. After some early butterflies, missed shots, bunnies, FTs, So. Car lead 17-10 at the end of one qtr. Louisville came back to take. the lead, So. Car went on a run and lead by 4; 34-28 at the half. Louisville is off their shooting, 14/33 and 0/2 for treys & 0/3 for FTs. So Car. is better in the paint; Assists 11 (vs 3 for Louisville), yet lead by only 4. Aliya Boston is an outstanding player for So. Car. (National Player of the Year, and its easy to see why, virtually unstoppable). If Louisville can defend the paint a little better and find their shooting eye they can win, but right now So. Car. looks like the more poised team.

Going to be a good 2nd Half!

So Car. comes out hot - leads by 9 (as high at 15) 57-48 at the end of three. Louisville 0/3 from 3 pointers.

 

So Carolina wins 72-59, in an impressive display advancing to play the winner of UCONN/Stanford game.
