Well, this means I lost a bet. I thought Bohanan would be eligible for Social Security before his Iowa playing career ended. I think I only needed Iowa to keep their season going for about another 6 days. So close.

When I was walking out of PBA after we played tough but lost to Iowa, there was an Iowa fan in front of me fist-bumping ever other Iowa fan he encountered saying "go hawks". He then said, "We dominate this school. Football, men's basketball, women's basketball- we dominate them." I certainly did not appreciate it at the time, but there was nothing I could say. He was right.

 

I just hope that guy feels like absolute dog shit right now. F Iowa. F Creighton. GBR.

Bad day for Mountain West and nearly a disaster for the B1G.  Iowa couldn’t get into their game. 

 

South Dakota St lacked the overall quickness to top Providence and the necessary power to rebound. 

 

These Nebraska kids at least get to play in the NCAA Tournament.

Would love to go over to Iowa board and ask them how it feels to be on the wrong end of a few calls? Couldn't happen to worse group of people...tie with Creighton.

Isn't it kind of ironic.  All we Nebraska fans want is a chance to dance and it just doesn't happen.  Yet there's all these Nebraska kids dancing for teams other than DONU.

It's part of the reason why some players choose the mid-major route. The path can sometimes arguably be easier than a bottom half P5 team to get to the tournament.
