uneblinstu's postgame chatter: vol 14; ed 27 - at Northwestern

No one has gotten better, and most have regressed. Bryce would be averaging about 7 ppg on 18% shooting if not for getting to the FT line. If Fred's back, you almost have to blow up the main rotation guys. They appear to be unsalvageable at this point, even Trey, and to some extent, Derrick. If Fred's gone, maybe some rotation guys do better with a fresh start at HC.

Lost by 24 first time around, and 12 second time around.

Funny to see Iowa there considering we beat them in Fred's first year. Bunch of other blowouts probably made it lower

Brutal. A bunch of close calls last year, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

Not a call out. Just found it funny that they have the biggest margin of victory against us, but we won the first big ten game of Fred's tenure against them (I believe).

Fred's first Big Ten victory was actually against Purdue in which Cam Mack had a triple double, the 1st in Nebraska basketball history. That was after NU lost in OT at Indiana. Those were the two Dec. B1G games in Hoiberg's 1st season; The Iowa win was after the turn of the new year, a game the Hawkeyes shot 4-33 on threes, yet only lost 76-70.
