in my eyes, this helps illustrate why the season has gone how it has to date. 

 

We don't go on runs consistently and we give up a high rate of runs. If you look behind us it's Missouri, who of you've followed has had just as bad a season as us. 

 

Think back to all the games where we seemingly go on a run but all of a sudden we give up 2 more scoring runs. Last few close losses have exhibited this in the last few possessions. OSU, Illinois, and Indiana all ended on a scoring run in some fashion. 

 

Might be nothing, but I found it interesting

Might be everything.  It reinforces how bad the defense is and how inconsistent the offense is.

Going on runs and giving up runs (assuming talent is comparable) is entirely about mental toughness and energy. Which we have none of.
