Clark creates distance with her off arm all game, no whistles,  and they call Weidner for an offensive call.  About time for Amy to lose it on the officials.

Great effort today but we rely way too much on hitting threes.  I doubt we have a game where we shoot threes as well as today.  We need Jaz and Sam back fast.

Nebraska had plenty of fouls, no doubt, and a bunch were stupid.  But, many other calls were not fouls or called the same way on both ends.  Clark got at least 2 calls at the hoop where she initiated all the contact and the defender didn't do anything.  The one called on Coley was ridiculous - Coley was bailing and Clark smacked Coley in the head.  Czinano simply fell over once and got a call.  Nebraska basically got no contact fouls at the hoop.  The offensive foul on Weidner, Clark gets away with the entire game.  Her off-ball arm is extended almost every time she makes a move and once the defender is moving, all it takes is a little nudge to get them off balance.  Honestly, you could make that call on most ball handlers at any time.  That's why the call on Weidner can't be made because it hasn't been called the other 38 minutes.  This game was 5 on 8 from the start of the 2nd quarter on.

Coatney's post game interview w/ Coach: "what do you attribute the difference between the 1st and 2nd quarters(?)? Silence.  Coatney: 'You don't have to answer that, we'll just move on"  Probably gave him a look like "well, what do YOU think?".  Yeah we were a little bit overly aggressive at times, reaching and bumping when we should have just stayed with them without resulting to that.  When we backed off a bit in the 2nd half, they simply executed and scored a lot of baskets in close.  Great effort and energy by the ladies under the circumstances.  Wish it would have been enough.

Purely bush league on the part of Iowa and Clark.  No way to justify that or rationalize those actions.  They are BUSH LEAGUE!!!!  And I'm not just saying that because it's Iowa and we lost.

This would be a good opportunity for Trev to Stand-Up like he did when 'TV TEDDY' valentine refused to blow his whistle when Verge WAS fouled going for what would have been a Winning Basket in the Husker vs NC State ACC/B1G Challenge Game.
