Bourne seems to be rushing her shots, without Holmes, we have a great opportunity to win this game.  But, too many turnovers at present.

Issie doesn't seem quite herself lately.   We do miss Bella.

Halftime Stats:

Sorry for the small type.   This is the way it shows up (Click on the Stats and a more readable box pops up)

(Also inadvertently wrong screen - doesn't show Indiana player stats (but shows the important stuff i.e. Huskers)

Indiana is Good!   They are Methodical, Experienced, and Play Smart

Indiana is headed to 90+ points...and we are getting taken to the woodshed.

No defense, we don't get back and take a man,  or even know where an Indiana player is......we should take lessons from them

Jazz does not shoot enough

I don’t like the way we are defending ball screens.  Our post players are too slow to recover and their guards, Patberg and Berger, are tall enough to pass over ours. It’s going to take our best twenty minutes to get back in this game.

Better competition is exposing some warts.  Agree, we are not a very good defensive team. Not sure it is the players.  Could be the coaching/preparation.  Good teams have been getting open shots every game.  Also, driving to the hoop with little resistance.

As others have mentioned, on the offensive side, why do we have posts spending so much time at the top of the key?  Stewart is understandable.  She is a terrific shooter.  We used to run Kate out top all the time too.  Only thing that accomplished, usually led to an unnecessary foul or two.  Lots of dribbling.  We're having trouble finishing at the bucket.

I like our talent.  Maybe staff/team will put it together in the 2nd half.
