Apparently the Sycamores have two Aussies on their team. One is Izzy :)   Hope our Aussies don't take it too easy on them :)

The next three games could be considered "trap games". They have some decent players...maybe not the depth we have, but we need to be focused and ready all 4 qtrs.

We have too much good going right now to let down even a little bit.

celebrate the win!!!

however, listened to the game with matt and jeff on the way home...repeated numerous times how "ugly" this win will be.

hopefully huskers had "one of those games" cause giving up 18 offensive rebounds and 24(?) to's is most likely a recipe for an "L" in the Big Ten---especially on the road.

yes!..........Huskers are 10-0!

This was my first in-person Huskers WBB game in three years, so it was a lot of fun being there!

But it looks like we let off the gas a little bit in the second half, and did not protect the ball well at all. Having a turnover rate of more than 0.50/minute is quite problematic, but it's a good thing that ISU had similar ball insecurity.

Something I would like to see is Coley starting (at the 3 position) along with guards Shelly and Haiby.  This would give other teams matchup problems and help our rebounding as well. This would also free up more minutes for Markowski who has shown that the team needs them from a scoring and rebounding stand point.  Also frees up a few more minutes for Stewart.

Shooting was off. They were successful in disrupting our game plan and making us uncomfortable. Although we out-rebounded them, still needs work as they got several we should have contested, especially ones on the floor.

It's just as well some of our weaknesses are being exploited now, as we were able to overcome and still get a lop-sided victory, but we know how other teams are going to play us going forward; and what we have to do to win out!
