Sports are suppose to provide an escape from the grind of life. Husker Football and Basketball seem to just add stress. God Bless Will Bolt.

The last 20 years my teams have mostly been terrible…lots of pain and heartbreak.  At least my eagles got one championship in an otherwise desolate landscape of football, baseball, basketball and soccer.

I'm confused as to how, after months away and months to prepare, a team comes out so listless, so effortless, so unfocused on playing a game...please play with some effort and intent PLEASE.

The sad part, is that we saw more effort and focus in the EXHIBITION games.  Can someone please tell me why that is the case?
