Good on him .... but wow on everyone else. I'm going to put a positive spin on it and say that Fred is exaggerating with that quote a bit to try to motivate the other guys. Because if he is being truthful, that actually may explain a lot about the product we're seeing on the floor right now.

 

You'd think that having players give that kind of effort and go through that level of grinding at practice would be a minimum expectation from the coaches at this level, not the exception.

 

Keep in mind Fred and crew told us we have a team of great shooters, and yet this team is supplying the new stadium addition with bricks.

Eh, not really. They've started settling in. Wilcher, Webster, Tominaga and B McGowens are shooting .422 as a group from 3 since the Kansas St. game. Wilcher and Tominaga are both shooting north of .450.

 

Lat has had a nice stretch shooting the last three games, too, miraculously.

Better maybe slightly, still at 29% for the year and still miss way to many wide open looks.  Are you saying north of 45% since KSU?
