Very much thought Canada would have a better showing.  4-1 is abysmal after how they played Belgium.  However, as we saw today, maybe Belgium isn’t what we thought.

 

Sure CR and Mexico has a shot, but honestly it’s looking more and more like the US needs to be the team to carry CONCACAF to the knockouts.

It's been talked about for maybe a year or two. First time hearing there may be some draft paperwork in the works.

How do you blow the final whistle on an attacking set piece opportunity for the losing team!?!?  Legit hate that decision for the South Koreans.  Love the coach defending his team and getting that red after the match.

 

He had the chance to end it at the 10 minute mark of extra time.  He let them have another opportunity to attack.  They earned a corner.

Thanks.  Adams handled that very tactfully.  There are a few additional talking points I wish he had brought up, but to receive that loaded of a question with no advanced notice...yikes.  Very few athletes would have fielded that question so well.  Adams is 100% the right choice as Captain America.

That Sargent injury is huge.  Forced Gregg to use his third and final substitute window earlier than he wanted.  Chose to just sub in Haji and let two subs go unused.  Oh man.
