great to see Issie moving well! Cravens back in!

not good defense ugh

A bit of the 'Matador' defense.  It was good to see Ruby step in front of the driver and draw the travel towards the end of the half.  Maybe "D" will be a topic during the half.

Our shooting is picking up....we're closing in...just make shots from here on in.

They can't keep making three's, don't have the shooters.

Wishing I was wrong.  ☹️  Free throws have been the difference, we have just missed too many!   That and the overall lack of defense.

I replayed the portion of the game Stewart was in, and didn't notice anything unusual.  She was running well.  Didn't appear to be any reason physically, to keep her on the bench. We had a cold shooting half, and she didn't play.  Strange.  Reminds me of another game we shot poorly, and Ruby sat most of the game (Minnesota?).  It would be interesting to get an explanation.

How come Williams does not call her first time out until there is only 1:31 minutes left in the game?????????????????????????  We were down 71-76 at that point, and previously we were down 71-72 at the 2:57 minute point.  While the fourth quarter had multiple lead switches and there was the under 5 time out at 4:41, prudent coaching would seem to call for a sooner time out than at the 1:31 mark to kind of reset the team and reinforce the need for good defense and good shots!!!!!  She just saves all the time outs to the end to be able to take the ball out on our side after a made shot by the other team, hence last 3 time outs at 0.56; 0.44; and 0.28 seconds.

Sam had an off night while Cain played well offensively and  had some blocks but struggles to defend an athletic center like Cash.

Seems like she could have been more judicious about using their time outs.  Most coaches like to use one to stop momentum, esp. at that point in the game so as to try and prevent it from getting out of reach.
