i'm sure the medical staff are doing all they can to get Bourne ready......however, hearing they had to carry Bourne off is not a good sign. been there, done that. hard to say the severity, but, i'm guessing at least a 60% chance she won't play. i'm sure they won't force things either. man, this team has had to battle through enough crap. now this ☹️

When Trinity Brady got hurt the first time coach addressed the injury about a week later and said it was day to day.  If I remember right she was still on crutches.  If Issie is out as long as Trinity we will be in trouble.  One Freshman reserve at guard and one Freshman reserve at forward.  Good experience for them but not much relief for the starters which includes Ruby starting for the first time.

very true. just can't afford to not have Bourne in the lineup....not even for a game or two.

8 Ohio State

How the hell could Ohio St. be #8 when looking at games through 1/10.  They didn't beat anybody up to that time and their only road win was at Illinois.  Yes they did beat Iowa on the road last night ending their long home winning streak but that was 3 days after their 1/10 ratings.  Maybe they have an accurate crystal ball and could see the Iowa win coming.  They treat Nebraska like crap.  Their system sucks!

Maybe this (at least until proven otherwise 🥴)

Quote
Ohio State is undefeated this season and 3-0 in Big Ten play following an 84-82 OT win over Iowa.  The Buckeyes return all five starters, all averaging double figures so far this year.

Ohio State has one of the Big Ten's most explosive offenses, averaging 89.9 points per game, while shooting 50.4 percent from the field, 34 percent from three-point range and 70.9 percent from the free throw line. The Buckeyes carry a plus-3.6 rebound margin and a plus-6.4 turnover margin.

Ohio State has been impacted by Covid, forcing cancellation vs Akron and postponements for their first three Big Ten games - Iowa, at Maryland & Michigan State.

Let's hope we can burst their bubble.  Ohio State makes the third time this season that Nebraska has played an AP No. 15 team that also entered the game unbeaten (Northwestern, 4-0; Michigan, 7-0).

plus, i believe Dorka Juhasz has only played in 4 of the 7 games.

In the latest NET rankings Rutgers remains at #20.  How can that be.  They have 0 quality wins.  They won 3 non conference games against extremely weak teams.  Only one conference win, against Wisconsin.  Due to Covid their program is basically shutdown.  Mean while we are #70.

Net rankings are an efficiency metric so thats why it hasnt changed much. Hopefully the NCAA doesnt use that as its main metric this year because its really flawed with teams playing different amount of games and quality of competition is so different for these teams.
