Illinois(2-1) vs. Nebraska (2-0) Game Thread

I see we still do not like to defend or rebound.

Illinois is so much quicker and is getting to loose balls first.  Our defensive rebounding continues to be weak.

You would Coach Williams would have some under our basket in bounds plays. Rediculous losing two of those in a row.  Bourne really has some nice moves around the basket. Too bad Cain doesn't have any moves.  Other than a few blocks she doesn't give us much. Smaller players always outjump her or out quick her to a rebounds.

one of those was on haiby because scoggin broke free in the corner and was open and Hy-Vee didn't pass it to her and she tried to get it inside where they tipped it away so they had to play there Heidi just didn't throw it to the open player

We're doing better with Cravens and Stewart down low and just let Bourne do her thing....and Sam of course. If Scoggen can get a couple of 3 shots..would help

 

Unfortunately we only have Sam that can consistently drive to the bucket

Cain needs to follow cuz her shots but it wouldn't have mattered as slow a footage is but at least she maybe could have got in there and contested the ball coming up to court
